Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to read the free will and fatalism issue of the famous philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, who has left his mark especially on moral philosophy with his ideas that overturn traditional teachings, from his own perspective. Before this reading, the developing and changing meanings and derivatives of free will and fatalism in the historical course have been explained and exemplified with an epistemological basis. In particular, the concepts of freedom and will, which are the components of free will, have been examined separately and in detail, and what free will is and what it is not have been explained. The meanings attributed to free will and fatalism by Nietzsche, who is sometimes considered one of the incomprehensible philosophers, have been tried to be clarified by analyzing her texts. The meanings and effects that Nietzsche has attributed to free will and fate, especially in the new world that has been decadentized by Christianity, which ignores the real world and focuses people on the other world, have been explained, and examples have been given with verses from the holy books. Free will and fatalism have been read through Nietzsche's basic concepts of the superman, eternal return, death of God, will to power, perspectivism and amor fati. In particular, with amor fati, which is directly related to our subject, Nietzsche's explanation of how one should affirm or affirm life is explained. Keywords: Nietzsche, free will, fatalism, fate, determinism
