Niğde İli Damızlık Sığır Yetiştiricileri Birliği'ne kayıtlı süt sığırcılığı işletmelerinin ekonomik analizi

In the study, it was evaluated according to the results of the survey conducted with a total of 176 enterprises in order to determine the economic status, structural characteristics and problems of dairy cattle enterprises affiliated to the Niğde Province Cattle Breeders Association. The number of processing animals in the region is classified as 5-19 (small-scale), 20-99 (medium-scale), 100+ (large-scale) enterprises. According to the stratified random sampling method, there are 83 small-scale enterprises, 73 medium-sized enterprises, and 25 large-scale enterprises. According to the results of the survey, feed cost is the largest expenditure item in small, medium and large-scale enterprises, 59.25% in small-scale enterprises, 64.73% in medium-sized enterprises and 68.20% in large-scale enterprises. When the average profitability and productivity ratios of dairy cattle farms of different scales were compared, it was determined that small-scale enterprises had the lowest financial and economic profitability, while they had the highest feed particle productivity and income-expense ratio. Medium-sized enterprises have higher finances than small-sized enterprises profitability and economic profitability ratios. It also has a lower expense-to-income ratio and feed particle efficiency. Large-scale enterprises have the highest rates of financial profitability and economic profitability among the three scales. Thus, it was determined that large farms are the most profitable and productive. Key words: Niğde, dairy farming, economic analysis, productivity
