Abstract (EN)
Nigella sativa L. is a annually herbaceous plant belongs to Ranunculaceae family which is known old civilizations and usually uses in Mediterranean countries recently. There is no pharmacopeia for N. sativa which of the studies are being increased currently. Oil of the N. sativa is preferred rather than its seeds in trade. The chemical composition of N. sativa is very complicate and all of the compounds have not known yet. There are steroids, terpenes, phenolic compounds, alcohols, esters, neutral lipids, fatty acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals in the seeds. Also the thymoquinon?s rate which is phenolic compounds is high and it is accountable from some biologic activities. But some trials were showed that N. sativa seeds are effective with all of the seed because of the synergetic interaction. There were a lot of in-vitro and in-vivo biologic activity studies and the result of these were showed anti-inflammation, analgesic, antioxidant, anticancer, adaptogen and antitumor, immune protective, hepatoprotective, antisestodal, antimicrobial and others with seeds. And we must to say that the seed?s toxicity is very low.In our study we made macroscopic and microscopic inspections, foreign materials, water and ash rates, essential oil glean from seeds and minerals analyses in this study.Finally, necessary environment have to obtain for present a drug from the plant and need to countenance conscious consumption.
