Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out on tomato (Alsancak Fı cv.), pepper (Koylum cv.) and cucumber (Sıla cv.) under open and screenhouse conditions species in Niksar district of Tokat Province. The effects of the growing conditions on the growing of these species were compared. In addition, agryl cover was used in both environments to avoid the adverse effects of low temperature. The maturity days, marketable and unmarketable yield were observed in the experiment. The maturity days were no significantly affected by screenhouse and agryl cover. The marketable yield was significantly increased in pepper and cucumber under screenhouse conditions, but was decreased in tomato. The marketable yield was no significantly affected by agryl cover in tomato and pepper under agryl cover conditions but it was decreased in cucumber. According to results, the highest marketable tomato yield was obtained from 10.87 kg/ m2 in open field; however, it was 7.23 kg/ m2 in screenhouse. The highest marketable pepper yield was determined as 11.97 kg/ m2 in screenhouse, but it was found out as 9.64 kg/ m2 in open field. The highest marketable cucumber yield was observed ad 25.76 kg/ m2 under screenhouse conditions, while it was 9.76 kg/ m2 in open field.
