Abstract (EN)
Nimri dede is a folk poet-singer(minstrel) considered to take part in minstrelsy. His Sufism outweighs his other aspects. He is one of folk poets of today. In our study the information about Nimri Dede?s life, scientific personality, and works was included. When we looked at Nimri Dede?s sayings, it occurs that he has the basic belief principlesof Islam. In addition to this he blends these principles with some understandings belonging to Shiism like Hak-Muhammed-Ali and Muhammed-Ali light. Also he embraced the basic worships of Islam as an adoration duty, and he reflected the basic principles of Islamic mysticism to his sayings Common understanding Nimri Dede?s reveals itself as the endeavour to purify all bad habits and to gain all good habits in order to attain the position of human perfection. Nimri dede considers humanbeing as the essence of existence. He dignifies the man with his moral values. A folk poet nimri dede who wants unity and solidarity not only offers ways for the development and prosperity of the country but also doesn?t forget to warn the people.
