The opinions on woman-man equality related decisions in sura of nisa

Mutual law between man and woman is one of the old discussion subjects. However, in modern times, changes occurring in social and cultural structure of society have also formed new trends and changes in world of thought. The issues of woman rights, woman-man equality, social status of woman have received a huge attention depending on changing role in social life of women, emergence and becoming widespread of feminist movements.In this environment, the issue of woman in Islam is also frequently discussed and criticized. Today?s scientists have studied to understand and to explain the meaning of the verses of Quran according to changing social and cultural conditions. In our study, we proposed to show the differences and provide objective point of view by compiling comments in classical period and nowadays in major discussion issues related with woman law.From judmental verses of sure of Nisa, we based on verses related with directly today?s discussion on woman-man equality. We analysed comments on discussions associated with ontological equality between woman and man, topic of polygamy and woman, man status in family.We gave place to historical dimensions of discussion issues by starting from advent reasons of verses. We studied to carry out a general evaluation comparing comments with its own reasons in various terms.We applied to the books, especially Qur?anic exegesis written in modern period. For some judicial details, we utilized from the methodological Islamic law books.As a result of our study, we have seen that the comments in different times and conditions changes by times and social and cultural conditions play a role for these changes. This situation puts forward that given discussion issues are basically relative issues. In addition to this, we hope that take into considerations to the different comments will provide an objective point of view for further researches in this issues.
