Abstract (EN)
Substituted 1,4-dihydropyridine and pyridine compounds have important biological activities due to antiviral, anticancer, antibacterial, antiinflamatory, antihypertensive and antiparkinson. The compounds behave as calcium ion channel blocker and HIV inhibitors. Different groups on 1,4- dihydropyridine and pyridine, their nature and chirality increase use of the compounds as calcium ion channel blockers.Substituted 1,4-dihydropyridine compounds were prepared using ß-diketones, aldehides and ammonium acetate or ammonia in the presence of acid catalysis.Nitrile containing substituted 1,4-dihydropyridine and pyridine compounds can be prepared by using either aldehyde which has nitrile groups or aminocratonitrile instead of ammonium acetate. Then nitrile containing penta substituted pyridine compounds can be prepared by oxidizing the nitrile containing substituted dihydropyridine compounds. The compounds can be used as precursor for the synthesis of tetrazole which have great biological activities.
