Abstract (EN)
In this study, electrochemical properties of antibacterial effective nitroimidazole derivative drug active compounds, namely ornidazole and metronidazole, was investigated using glassy carbon electrode and poli [4,4'-(hidrazine-1,2-diyl)dibenzensulfonic acid]- modified glassy carbon electrode by voltammetric techniques. The modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared by electropolymerization of 4-aminobenzenesulfonic acid. After optimum experimental conditions were determined, analytical parameters were calculated. Using tablet dosage forms of drug active substance, quantitative analysis was performed with both electrode. Validation parameters were calculated for applied techniques. In addition; by comparing the results, obtained from unmodified and modified electrodes, with each other; advantages are defined. Finally, reduction mechanisms were suggested for reactions occured in each studied electrode.
