Systematic and ecology of the spiders (Arachnida:Araneae) of Nizip and Karkamış (Gaziantep)

İsmail VAROL July 2004, 151 pages In this study, the spiders of country Nizip and Karkamış (Gaziantep) were studied. 26 families were found from the research area. Among the families, the following spiders Gnaphosidae, Clubionidae, Liocranidae, Lycosidae, Thomisidae, Theridiidae and Philodromidae were studied. Systematics and ecology of 57 species which belong to 29 genera of the obtained families were studied. Among the species, 3 genera and 26 species are new records from Turkey. The new recorded genera are ; Drassylus, Urozelotes ve Parasyriaca; Zelotes aeneus, Z, puritanus, Haplodrassus soerensei, Gnaphosa muscorum, Scotophaeus blackwalli, Drassylus pumilus, Urozelotes rusticus, Parasyriaca vinosa, Pardosa pseudotragillata, P.saturatior, P. vittata, P. cribrata, P. paludicola, P. saltuaria, Trochosa hispanica, T. per ita, Acantholycosa lignaria, Alopecosa pine torum, Aulonia kratochvili, Xyticus luctuosus, X. macedonius, Ozyptila claveata, Enoplognatha oelandica, E. schaufussi, Theridion smile, Philodromus albidus the species Key Words: Araneae, Aranaeae, Systematics, Ecology, Nizip, Karkamış ıı
