Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study was to determine symptom prevalence and symptom cluster in Non-hodgkin's lymphoma patients who had received chemotherapy. This is descr ş ptive study. Research, Hematology-Oncology clinics and clinics in the city center of Ankara, which was carried out in hospitals with patients receiving chemotherapy Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The research sample was constitued of 11 0 Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma patient who had received chemotherapy . Data were analyzed by number, percentage,average,standart deviation and cluster analysis. The most prevalent symptoms were lack of energy, lack of appetite, alopecia and be sensitive Seven symptom clusters ocur by using Memorial Symptom Assessment Scale. As it is mentioned in previous sentence there are seven cluster; "dry mouth" and" mouth sores" is the first one," dizziness","shortness of breath" and "difficulty swallowing"is the second one, "pain"," disturbed sleep","constipation" and "weight loss" is the third one, "nausea","vomiting","lack of appetite" and "diearrhea" is the fourth one, "cough", "swelling", "Feeling sad" and "difficulty concentrating" is the fifth one, "changes in the skin", "be sensitive" and "feeling nervous" is the sixth one, finally "change in taste","selling of arms or legs" and "lack of energy" creates the seventh cluster. Symptom clusters,with the scales fort he evaluation of nursing practice and the implementation can be proposed.Key Words: Non-hodgkins lymphome, Chemotherapy,Nursing,Symptom Cluster
