Abstract (EN)
Optical solitons represent a treasure trove of research in the field of nonlinear optics. There are several models that describe the dynamics of soliton propagation through optical fibers for long distances. These are the nonlinear Schrödinger's equation, Schrödinger–Hirota equation, Sasa–Satsuma equation, Manakov equation, Biswas–Milovic equation and several others. In this work, stationary soliton solutions to the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation that is studied with nonlinear chromatic dispersion having a plethora of nonlinear refractive index structures are obtained. Bright, dark and singular stationary optical solitons, solutions in terms of Jacobi's elliptic functions and other solutions are obtained by the application of generalized (G'/G)-expansion method. Also, in the case of log law nonlinearity, Gaussian solitary waves to the governing equation are reported.
