Özet (EN)
In this study, 2360 Drug Control Subject prescriptions from official associations including two or more drugs prescribed were evaluated for the possible drug interactions. In 102 (%4.3) of the prescriptions, there were drug interactions. Total number of interaction is measured as 120 (%5.1). Interaction detected in a prescription interaction clinical significance according to the group of 120 prescriptions of 18 grain of the effects of serious and life threatening in the direction which can be first-degree interactions (15%), in 29 prescriptions, could cause in the event worsening of patient, observed second-degree interactions (24.17%), 9 in the minor effect that can generate a third order interactions (7.5%), 32 of them moderately to severely impact ranging from the interactions of the fourth degree (26.67%), 32 of them seriously affect the minor effects of different situations that can generate up to fifth order interactions (26.67%) were found. As the drugs prescribed on a prescription increased number, the frequency of a probable drug interaction increased accordingly. Drug interactions can lead to different results from person to person. Education, genetic characteristics, chronic diseases, age are factors that affect this stiuationBesides there is not any warning label on the prescriptions pointing out the drug interaction risks. Doctors have not got adequate information about this subject. The results of the interactions we are trying to point out here may vary from small variations of the drug plasma level to serious cardiac problems and even to death. While inappropriate use of drugs reduces the quality of medical care, it also leads to a waste of resources. One of the most important steps in improving rational drug use is providing rational prescribing. Doctor and pharmacist collaboration, the most important factor in ensuring rational drug use can be considered. The combined efforts of Ministry of Health, Turkish Medical Association, Universities and Turkısh Pharmacists? Associations are needed to solve the problems in the rational drug usage in Turkey.
