Effectiveness of Game-Based Core Exercise in Children with Non-Neuropathic Bladder Dysfunction and Comparison with Biofeedback Therapy Aim: This study was planned to evaluate the effectiveness of game based core exercises in children diagnosed with non-neuropathic bladder dysfunction and to compare it with the biofeedback treatment method. Material and Method: The study included 48 children, aged 6-13 years, who were diagnosed with non-neuropathic bladder dysfunction. The patients were divided into 3 groups. Group I "included in game-based core stabilization exercise training", group II "included in biofeedback program", group III "included in game-based core stabilization exercise training in addition to biofeedback program" was designed. The socio-demographic characteristics of the patients were questioned with a descriptive questionnaire. DVSS and uroflowmeter values of the patients were evaluated before and after treatment. Results: The mean age of the individuals included in the study was 8.81±2.08 years. There was a statistically significant difference in pre-treatment and post-treatment DVSS scores in all three groups (p<0.05). However, no significant difference was found between the groups. There was no statistically significant difference in the uroflowmeter results of patients in group I and group II before and after treatment. In group III patients, the time to maximum flow rate after treatment was significantly reduced and average flow rate was significantly increased. Conclusion: In children with bladder dysfunction, biofeedback and game-based exercises were found to be effective in reducing patients' complaints. The use of game-based exercise with biofeedback treatment positively affected the results of uroflowmetry. We think that game-based exercises will contribute to the literature as a new treatment option in the treatment of non-neuropathic bladder dysfunction.
