Abstract (EN)
The human brain, which perceives everything other than itself as an object, as it continues to iterate and structure objects, the traces and memories of these images in the past affect the present and the future. Objects of use; After losing their popularity over time, they give up their place to new state-of-the-art products that facilitate the everyday life conditions created by mankind. Objects used in the past are subject to deformations, wear and fading to be seen with the eye because they age over time. The reason why the objects used in everyday life have nostalgic value is the deformation and aging effect on them. The reason for the deformation of these objects is usually determined by how much time we use them. It is concluded that it has nostalgic value thanks to the meaning and value added by our own person. Objects of nostalgic value do not lose their value in terms of the meaning assigned to it, although they lose the nature of use and are only preserved. In the first part of this thesis, an introduction has been made in a general sense. In the second section, which consists of literature research, "Object of Use with Nostalgic Value" was discussed. In it, the general concept of the object and the objects of use that we use in everyday life are examined. In the third section, the process of periodic consideration of the place of the object in art is discussed. Finally, in the fourth part of the thesis, the application studies and analyses discussed in the scope of the thesis are included. In this process, a total of twenty-five implementation studies were carried out, including nine sketches. In these studies, the connection of objects with the reality of the world in a place where we can imagine is discussed with a realist approach to the art-object relationship. In these studies, pictorial searches were made on light-dark analyses of the only object of nostalgic value. Key Words: Image, Nostalgic Value, Object.
