Abstract (EN)

Albert Camus is one of the founders of absurdism, considered as the most dominant and philosophically the most intensive movement of the modern era. In his masterpiece titled Caligula, author situates the protagonist in the centre of the society and of the revolt to said society. In this work, the object of study is determined as Caligula's and the other actors' choice of positioning against and in the law as an imposing entity, and the structure of this social entity itself. The notion of the law that the characters confront in their inner universe, as well as in the social world that surrounds the individual is analysed under the light of Gaston Bachelard's method of approach with critical phenomenology.
