Investigation Nurdan Damla's religious children's books according to the basic principles that should be in kids' books

Religion is one of the most sensitive issues of a society. Some of the society wants their children to grow up with religious values. For this purpose, there are many means of transferring religious values. One of them is children's books under the name of children's literature. Children's books have an important effect in this context. However, children's books are not just a tool to teach the subject of religion; It is also the source of literary pleasure, knowledge about life and the formation of reading culture. In this study, Nurdan Damla's religious children's books were examined according to the basic principles that should be found in children's books. In this context, the study was handled under two headings, in terms of form and content. Size in terms of format, type of paper, cover-bound, page layout, letters and pictures; In terms of content, analyzes were made under the titles of subject-fiction, theme, characters, message, environment, language and expression. In the study, the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The research includes eleven children's books with religious content from Nurdan Damla's children's books. As a result of the research, it was determined that the religious children's books of Nurdan Damla, which were examined, generally comply with the basic principles that should be found in children's books, but it was determined that teaching was created by getting ahead of literature.
