Abstract (EN)
Nuri Ibrahim is a divan literature poet lived in the 17th century. This study focuses on Nuri's life, art and divan. The poet, of whose life we have limited information, has no literal work other than his divan literature works. Limited information gained on his life is written based on his divan. The study consists of three parts. The first part contains information of the poet's life and artwork. In the second part, the divan is examined on the basis of several titles such as pattern, language and content. The transcriptioned text of the divan constitutes the third part. Nuri could not attract attention with his artwork, neither he could find a place for himself in the collection of biographies. The most conspicuous feature of Nuri is the sailor language he used in one of his poets. Nuri, using this language successfully, had presented new words to the divan literature world. Key Words 1.
