Abstract (EN)

Nutuk is Mustafa Kemal Atatürk?s address that he displayed for 36.5 hours in the Second Major Congress of CHP in Ankara between 15th and 23rd of October, 1927.The great leader explained in details how the Turkish War of Independence was achieved though all the impossibilities, the proclamation of the republic and the difficulties encountered during this process, the innovations and rationales behind scaling Turkish Nationality up to the contemporaneous civilizations? levels. Nutuk is a great masterpiece that should be read by every single Turkish person as it is a valuable source of recent history. As the period when it was said and written, the language of Nutuk differs from that of current. The words deriving from the Arabic and Persian language were mostly utilized in Nutuk. A great deal of words is no longer used under the influence of reducibility in the meantime. This situation made it difficult for the new generation to understand it from the original text of Nutuk.
