Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between obesity beliefs and orthorexia neurosis by sex. The ages of the participants are between 18 and 55, and there are 650 women (400 women, 61.5% men and 38.5% men). The Ortho-15 Scale was used to measure the level of orthorexia neurosis and the Obsessive Beliefs Scale was used to determine the level of obsessive beliefs. In addition, the participants filled out the Demographic Information Form. '' Independent Sampling T-Test '', '' Multiple Regression Analysis '' and '' Correlation Analysis '' were used for the analysis of the research. Obsessive belief subscale scores and Ortho-15 scores were significantly different by sex. According to the gender variable, the relationship between male obesity belief subscales and orthorexia neurosis levels was higher than that of females. As the number of obsessive beliefs in male group increased, the number of oropharyngeal neuroses increased. Keywords; Orthorexia nevroza, Obsessive belief
