Abstract (EN)

The main aim of this study is to examine Psychodynamic Personality Organizations and Adverse Childhood Experiences to subtypes of obsession of people who diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) according to DSM-5. Neurotic, borderline, and psychotic structure levels of obsession types and the relationship of childhood negative experiences on these types were investigated. A total of 31 OCD patients (17 women and 14 men) aged 18-65 years who received outpatient treatment at Antalya Therapy Medical Center, participated in the study. A total of 31 OCD patients (17 women and 14 men) participated between the ages of 18-65 who received outpatient treatment at Antalya Therapy Medical Center in the study. Sociodemographic Data Form (SDF), Yale-Brown Obsession Compulsion Scale (YBOCS), Inventory of Personality Organizations (IPO), and Adverse Childhood Experiences Scale (ACE) were used to collect the data of the study. According to the results of the analysis, when the types of obsessions and negative childhood experiences are examined; It has been determined by the negative life experience of individuals with hoarding obsessions in childhood. Aggression and contamination are related to primitive defences, identity diffusion and reality testing psychodynamic personality organization is examined. Participants with an aggression obsession tend to have a borderline personality structure.
