Abstract (EN)
One of the biggest problems faced by entrepreneurs in realizing their ideas is the supply of financial resources. Traditional venture financing tools are used to provide these financial resources. With the negative effects of the 2008 economic crisis, the loss of attractiveness and accessibility of traditional venture financing tools led entrepreneurs to seek alternative tools. The rapid development in technology and the internet has given the opportunity to develop alternative resources in the finance sector. Crowdfunding, which is a model of internet and crowd-based venture financing, which makes it possible to obtain financial resources in the creation of new ventures, appears. Crowdfunding, which is preferred to fund new and innovative initiatives, brings together project owner entrepreneurs and supporters who fund projects on internet-based platforms, In the research, it is aimed to develop a new scale with the approach of revealing the reasons that motivate the supporters who fund their crowdfunding and award-based projects, with the thought that it will continue to exist in the near future among the changing financial resource procurement methods. Since there is currently no generally accepted scale application in the field of crowdfunding, it is thought that the deficiency in the literature will be eliminated. In line with the purpose, an item pool was created as a result of a comprehensive literature review and presented to expert opinions. The resulting draft scale was applied to supporters who fund award-based projects on crowdfunding platforms with convenience sampling method. In the research, descriptive statistics, validity and reliability analysis, exploratory (exploratory) and confirmatory factor analysis were applied, and a scale consisting of 15 questions whose validity and reliability was proven was created.
