Use of color in office interior design

People spend most of their daily lives in offices. While a number of productions are produced in these places, the psychological perceptions of employees are an important factor in the efficiency of production. When the office interior arrangement is made, it is necessary to make decisions that affect the perception of employees in a positive way. In these study; the use of color, which is an important factor in the design of office interior space, has been examined. Throughout the study, it was aimed to create a resource for the designer for future office interior designs, to contribute to the scientific world and to shed light on the development of office interior designs. The first part of the study, included information about the introduction to the study. In the second chapter, the historical process of the offices, the development and the place of today, the basic principles of office design are discussed. In the third chapter, the color concept of the basic design principles is detailed and the color effects in the perception of the general venue have been examined. Types of structures allocated according to architectural functions; The use and effects of color in these structures are examined in headings. Subsequently, the use of color in offices, various perceptual experiments and psychological effects were emphasized in these building types. In the fourth chapter, color use has been interpreted in the design examples of office interior design where color concept is evident.
