Abstract (EN)

This study aims elaborating the relation between the anger level and the level of organizational commitment of the teachers deployed in the elementary, secondary and high schools in the county of Esenler, İstanbul. This study covers the teachers of different branches deployed in the elementary, secondary and high schools in the county of Esenler, İstanbul. The Study is related to the permanent anger and anger explanation styles as well as the dimensions of the organizational commitment in term of emotion, continuance and normative aspects. The research pattern was designed to be the ''tracing method'', using 400 subjects, including 222 male and 178 female ones. For the study were used the Scales of Organizational commitment and Permanent Anger and Anger Explanation Styles. The collected data and Findings were anlyzed through the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) Windows 21.0 software. Descriptive statistical methods (Number, Percentage, Average, Standard Deviation) were used for data processing. For the intergroup comparison of quantitative data, and the intergroup comparison of parameters in more than two groups, and for the determination of group variance, the t-test, Oneway Anowa Test and Tukey Post Hoc test were applied. The relation between the dependent and independent variables of the study was tested by the Pearson correlation, and the regression analysis were used for the regression. The study results revealed that the ongoing and controlled anger levels of the teachers were found extremely high, and the levels of repressed and expressed anger were high. The teachers were however found to have medium levels of emotional, ongoing and normative commitment. The relation among the teachers for the anger levels and styles and the organizational commitment was found significant. Furthermore, the repressed anger level resulted in an increased ongoing dependence, and the levels of normative depenence were raised in parallel with the level of controller anger.
