Abstract (EN)
Many advances have also occurred in the printing industry together with the development in technology. More quickly and affordable prints have became realizable with this developments. Because of the employees? lack of skill and knowledge about quality, quality control devices and quality standards have caused difficulties on print quality while technology and printing industry has rapidly evolving. Operators consider that the print is quality if the printed colors are vibrant and pleasing to the eye in our country although the standards are determined for a high quality printing. Requirements for a quality printing are determined by ISO 12647:2. In this study, two separate printing has been done including before training the operators and after training the operators. ISO standards have not been achieved in the first printing experiment even though the appropriate material and physical conditions necessary for a quality printing are provided. Second printing experiment was done after training operators on the ambient conditions, material compliance, the use of quality control devices and ISO standards. The data obtained from the selected samples of before training and after training were evaluated with the t-test. Result of the evaluation, it is possible to achieve the print norms by knowing the provision of appropriate physical conditions, material compliance, the use of quality control devices and ISO standards by the operators were determined. This study shows that it is necessary to train operators on the subjects to achieve a high quality print.
