OGC investigation of standards and vector data reports with OGC WFS

In this study, the standards and benefits of Open Geospatial Consortium ? OGC, which enables smooth access to GIS data and provides visual services for its users and where the data from various sources can easily be incorporated, as well as the OGC ? compatible websites have been researched. It has been recognized that Web Feature Service, one of OGC standards, is effectively being used for the network-based presentations and processing of vector-type data (point, line, area). This study, making use of the document called ?Web Feature Service Implementation Specification? of OGC on OGC WFS, provides an extensive resource in Turkish language for the users who would like to make research on the relevant area. Examining several open-source infrastructure software used for network WMS and WFS presentations, the study also involves various samples of the similar software.
