The reasons of lack o f motivation from the perspectives of students i̇n imam hatip secondary schools: Karabağlar sample

In this study, it was aimed to determine the factors that decrease the motivation of Imam Hatip Secondary Schools from the point of view of students. In this research, data were collected by using the questionnaire technique, and the obtained data were interpreted by analyzing with SPSS program. The results of the analyzes were evaluated and recommendations were found appropriate. As a result of the research and analysis, the following conclusions have been reached; Students' motivation for learning especially in the first year is very high. As classes grow, their motivation decreases. The reason for this is family, friends, social media, intensive courses and so on. There are many factors such as. It has been determined that teacher factor has a very important place in motivation. Students are interested in the lesson of their favourite teacher. The majority of students like to read books, but they do not find textbooks interesting. Suggestions were made for the results reached in the research. Although our research is a research for Imam Hatip Secondary Schools, it is thought that it will contribute to the education field in general because there are many common problems in education.
