Evalution of the correlation between successfuls in the chemistry lessons in high school with high school entrance exam of student?s

The correlation between success in answering chemistry questions in OKS exam and the success in chemistry lessons of Anadolu High School fırst second and third class was investigated in this thesis.The chemistry questions asked in the OKS exam were investigated in term of chemistry curriculum of primary school in order to find whether they are suitable for the students. The chemistry questions asked in OKS exam were classified according to Bloom?s taxonomy in order to search the question levels and if the alternatives are due to student?s misconceptions.It was found out that the chemistry questions asked OKS exam are suitable for chemistry lessons in science education. It was found out that the questions choosed weren?t equal acording to classroom level and units. Alternatives of the questions asked OKS exam weren?t formed student?s misconceptions. It was found out that if the chemistry questions asked in OKS exam between 2002-2006 years classified according to Bloom?s cognitive taxonomy wasn?t asked any question knowledge level. It was asked 33,3 percent from cognition level, 60 percent application level, 6,66 percent analysis, synthesis, evaluate level. The students who studied in the Anadolu High School. It was found out that there wasn?t any meaning correlation between chemistry lesson successful of Anadolu High School students and their succesful in the OKS exam.Key words: Measurement and evalution, chemistry questions, Bloom?s taxonomy
