The effect of some factors which affects the 1st class from secondary schools students the choices of the secondary schools

Education is a time period which starts with the born of the child in his family and continues at school and reflects to his life.Everybody has the rights to educate and to choose where they educate, but there are some factors which affect and to restrict the students choices. Tehese factors are the sex, the wishes and the expectations of the student, the job which he wants to have, school success, guidance works, the kind and the number of secondary schools, the economic level of the family, the success of the schools in ÖSS, the success of the students in OKS, the quality of the education at schools. It is studied that to determine the factors which affects the students? choices of the high school, according to the kinds of the schools. With this aim, it is asked that, according to the kind of the school, what the order of the personal factors? affects and the factors of the schools which are choosen is, which is more affected; the personal factors or the factors of the schools which are choosen, according to the kinds of the schools wheter there is a demografic difference or not, the personal factors and the factors of the school change due to the sex of the students the parents? education, income populatin and the changes of the kinds of the schools, or not. Whit this aim questionnaire is done with 523 1st class students in 21 secondary schools in Adapazarı. These results are analyzed by SPSS packet programme. Kay-Kare Test is used to determine the demografic differences due to the kinds of the school. To analyze the results of the personel factors which affect the school choice , Kruskal Wallis analyze is used and to analyze the results which are related to the schools, ANOVA (one factor based) is used. As a result of the findings, it is expressed that in the choices of the schools, similar factors are important on the other hand, the most important factors are the students and their families? wishes and expectations, and the job which they want to have and the education quality of the school which they go.
