Abstract (EN)

This research aims to find out whether students should attend mass or boutique style of preparatory courses in order to obtain higher scores and to assist students and their families during course selection process. Furthermore, it also aspires to contribute to the present or future preparatory courses in re-designing their education methodologies and activities.In this thesis, student?s achievements are assessed and compared in relation to the type of university examination preparatory courses they attend, the extent of influence pertaining to type of preparatory course (mass or boutique) on the students? attainments are determined and the so-called results are depicted by some variables. In the research, the scanning model is used to realise the above-mentioned objectives.Keywords: Mass Preparatory Course, Boutique Preparatory Course, Higher Education Examination, Exam Success
