Learning styles of teaching based on 4mat model on the student success for high school history lesson

In this research, learning style and 4MAT teaching model of the high school?s first class history lesson, in the unit of History Science Entrange teaching, the ifluence on the achievement of students in history lesson was researched. nvestigotion has been materiolited in two extens as surveillance and experimental in desing. Surveillance extent of the investigation has been put into practiced Kolb (1985) Learning Style Inventory for one hundred sixteen freshman class students who are in Sehit Zafer pek High School in 2005-2006 educational year first seviterm .It has been stated that % 50.9 of the experiment group students is included in the group learning as Analytic %24.6 of them is included in the group learning as imaginatory %12.3 of them is included in the group learning as commensense and again %12.3 of them is included in the group learning as dynamic.n the analyze of the givens, Frequency avarage, percent avarage and aritmetic avarage is used. Surveilance extend of the investigation was carried out on 116 freshmans.n experiment group ,which is exist of 57 students during the six weeks (12 lesson time) history lesson and the unit of History Science Enterance?s teaching model, also control groups students which consist of 59 people was tought by sticking to the some unit lesson took and using traditional teaching method. History science entrance succes unit test has been practıced as priosutest and last test to students during the previass and following of practice.T-test, one sided variance Analysis (ANOVA) and two sided variance analysis have been practiced for analysis of dotums. ix In investigation ,whether experiment and control group student?s learning styles make diffence in sex has been searched and it has been stoted that first learning styles make no diffence in sex in two group. As a consequency of the analysis carried aut that last test achievements of the students group of experiment and control not change according to studies. Style of students preference as well. It has been found a meaningful difference betwen group of experiment and control before and other experiment prior and last test?s total achıevement poınts of the unıt of History Sience Entrance.
