Abstract (EN)
In this study critical thinking, logical thinking and problem solving skills are evaluated in term of several variables at biology and science teacher candidates. This research is a the scan type of descriptive research model. The study group is studying Gazi University, Faculty of Education Biology and Science Education programs. The students that studying forth-fifth class of biology education and third-forth class of science education at 2011-2012 academic year participated in the study. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 11.0 statistical software package. During the study, the quantitative data obtained from the SPSS program checks the data once it has been transferred and assigned to missing values, the average value of the change. Then, to see whether the data are normally distributed Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was performed seperately for each scale. At this research, it was investigated that critical thinking, logical thinking and problem solving skills were affected by the age, gender, grade level and type of school graduated. Logical thinking was affected only by the grade level. Other variables weren?t affect it.
