Abstract (EN)
In this study, detailed information is given about the level of the scale's measures in the scale of the candidates who are loved by the students who are in an environment with the threat of evaluation and will be educated. In the research, survey method, which is a quantitative research approach, was used. Using simple random sampling, the study group consists of 741 pre-service teachers studying in the departments of Science Teaching, Elementary Mathematics Teaching, English Language Teaching, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Teaching, Classroom Teaching, Preschool and Turkish Language Teaching. "Global Warming Knowledge Scale", "Global Warming Attitude Scale" and "Environmentally Friendly Behavior Scale" were used to determine the knowledge, attitude and behavior levels of pre-service teachers. The knowledge, attitudes and behavior levels of the pre-service teachers on the subject of global warming were evaluated according to their gender, department, grade level, and whether or not they took a course on the subject of global warming. The collected data were evaluated using quantitative analysis methods. In comparison with gender and whether or not to take a course, t-test was used for independent samples, and one-way analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA) was used for variables of department and grade level. In line with the data obtained, while the level of knowledge does not show a significant difference; It has been determined that the level of attitude and behavior creates a significant difference according to gender. While the level of knowledge and attitude of teacher candidates about global warming showed a significant difference according to the department variable, it was determined that there was no significant difference in behavior levels. It has been determined that the knowledge, attitude and behavior levels of the pre-service teachers studying in the Classroom and Preschool Teaching departments who take environmental education lessons differ significantly on the class variable. It has been determined that the students know carbon dioxide gas as a greenhouse gas, but they do not have enough information about chlorofluorocarbon gas. It has been observed that there is a moderately negative and significant relationship between the attitudes and behavior levels of teacher candidates towards global warming.
