Abstract (EN)

In nowadays globalised world, one of the most important problems is communication issue. Whereas everyday thousands of academical research and scientific article are published, at the same time, reaching these articles spontaneously is possible by internet. At this point, following current science situation becomes prodominant. Because after computer revolution and commonness of internet this competition has chosen itself English as a universal language, main language of the competition has been English. While knowing a foreign language is seen important to follow technology and science, on the other hand, the view that principle sciences and vocational sciences must be in the native language has been predominant across discussings for years.For this reason, in this research, examining views of teacher candidates on necessity of foreign language is subjected. In the research, by using survey method as a data collecting method in social sciences, 209 teacher candidates were asked to express their views related to necessity of foreign language. Collected data were analysed at SPSS 17.0 for Windows program, and in the frame of teacher candidates views, answers were researched in the frame of the problem of the research.
