Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to determine the lifelong learning tendencies and digital literacy of teacher candidates who study at Anadolu University, Faculty of Education and to reveal the relationship between these two variables. Besides this main purpose, it is also aimed to find out whether teachers' lifelong learning tendencies and digital literacy are significantly different according to personal characteristics like gender, age, department. The study is designed in relational screening model. In the research, 397 first grade students who were studying in Anadolu University Faculty of Education in 2018-2019 academic year were surveyed.According to the study results, lifelong learning tendencies and the digital literacy skills of teachers candidates were determined as high.Teacher candidates' lifelong learning tendencies and subdimensions differentitates according to the gender and department variables. Although teacher candidates' digital literacy does not differentiate according to the department, it differentiates according to the gender variable. It is found that there is a low positive correlation between lifelong learning tendencies and digital literacy of teacher candidates.
