Abstract (EN)

In this research, the aim is to examine the self-efficacy perception upon the prospective teachers who graduated from the faculties of education and the formation students under some subgroups constitued regarding some parameters and the determination of whether the structure of the scale differentiates in these subgroups or not. 1000 teacher candidates who graduated from the faculties of education and formation students in Ankara and Bolu in 2014-2015 Educational Year participated in the research. The perception of self-efficacy of the participants have been assessed through the 24-itemed long form of "The Teachers' Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES)" developed by Tschannen-Moren and Woolfolk Hoy (1998), translated into Turkish by Çapa et al (2005) .The demographic features of the participants have been detected by means of personal information form developed in the course of the research. The obtained data have been analysed within the framework of the research aims via confirmatory factor analysis and multi-group analysis techniques. As a result, the conformity data of teachers' self efficacy scale in the group of the teacher candidates graduating from Faculties of Education have been the following: X2/sd = 2.70, NNFI = 0.96, CFI = 0.96, RMSEA = 0.062, GFI= 0.89, AGFI = 0.86 ve SRMR = 0.052. The result of the formation students has been X2/sd = 2.80NNFI = 0.94, CFI = 0.94, RMSEA = 0.064, GFI= 0.88, AGFI = 0.86 ve SRMR = 0.054. According to these results, it can be concluded that for two groups, the data group obtained from the scale confirms with the data of three-factor model that is constitued with the dimensions of communication, teaching strategies and classroom management. The data gathered regarding the parameters of gender, age and the faculty they graduated from have been analysed through multi-group analyses. The three factor structure of the The Teachers' Sense of Efficacy Scale has been confirmed in the goups constituted regarding gender, age and faculty parameters with teacher candidates graduating from faculties of education and formation students and the factor structure of the scale has been indicated not to differentiate in the teacher groups constituted regarding various parameters. Key Words: Teacher Self-Efficacy, Teacher Candidates graduating from Faculty of Education, Formation Students, Confirmatory Factor Analyses, Multi Group Confirmatory
