Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to research the value structures of the teachers and principals who work at primary shools and secondary educational schools in the European side of İstanbul province related to their individual life, social life and family life.In this framework, the relationship between these variables and socio-demographic variables (sex, age, seniority, graduation etc.) has also been pointed out. The sampling group selected by using random sampling method includes 156 teachers and principals who work in the European side of İstanbul province. 81 of these 156 (%51,9) teachers and principals are male and the rest of them (%48,1) are female. Findings related to demographic variables are belong to the group which includes 84 individuals (%53,8) who are at the age of thirty and younger than thirty. It means that 97%of these 84 individuals (%62,2) have been working about fewer than 10 years, thus they are at the beginning of their professional life.
