Abstract (EN)
In this research, teacher?s current status, perceptions and expectations according to their classes, and the level of their alienation are tried to be analyzed.Sampling of this study is formed by 311 teachers working in private and government schools at permanent, temporary and administrative positions. The survey form consisting of 54 questions and 175 sub items, is used to gather information about teachers. The descriptive frequency distribution and crosstabs tables are used for analyzing the data. The results of the study show that teachers have tendency to have petty bourgeoisie morals besides being proletarian due to their current status. In addition, alienation to themselves, students and their profession is being seen on teachers. On the contrary, their present status, perceptions and expectations don?t have significant effect on the level of alienation.
