Abstract (EN)
Aim: The study aims to determine the effects of teachers' nutrition and health literacy levels on their quality of life. Method: This study, conducted in a descriptive, cross-sectional, and relational manner, was carried out with 312 teachers working in the provincial center of Erzurum between March and July of 2025. Research data was collected using a socio-demographic information form, the Adult Nutrition Literacy Scale, the Adult Health Literacy Scale, and the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale. R Studio, G-Power and SPSS 27 software packages were used for data analysis. Results: According to the research findings, it was determined that teachers did not exhibit a homogeneous distribution in terms of quality of life and were classified under four different quality of life profiles. A statistically significant difference was found between quality of life profiles and nutrition literacy levels (χ²(4)=9.03; p<0.05; η²ᴴ=0.0189). In contrast, no statistically significant difference was found between quality of life profiles and health literacy levels (p>0.05; η²ᴴ=0.0099). Conclusion: In this research, it was determined that teachers were grouped into four different profiles based on BIC values as a result of Latent Profile Analysis (LPA). Based on the profiles obtained, it was determined that nutrition literacy levels differed significantly according to quality of life profiles, whereas health literacy levels did not show a significant distinction between profiles.
