Abstract (EN)
For teachers who are the most important elements of education, one of the biggest deficiencies is that they do not develop themselves sufficiently while providing education services. Therefore, in-service trainings offered may not always be sufficient. Therefore, while various educational arguments are put forward, it is seen that especially technological advances are used today to improve teachers' performance. In this context, the use of social media, which has become increasingly widespread in recent years, is used to increase teachers' performance and productivity. The use of social media is the platform that teachers can use to develop themselves. In this context, the relationship between teacher performance and social media usage and the effect of factors such as age and gender on these two factors were tried to be understood and suggestions were made within the framework of these results. According to the results of the analysis, there is a relationship between social media usage and teacher performance, and meaningful relationships between demographic characteristics and dimensions.
