Teachers perspectives to project of FATİH (İncreasi̇ng Opportunities and İmproving Technology Movement) and information technologies, expectations of the project

İn this research, teachers' who are working in schools where project of FATİH implemented, views were examined. Research carried out in public schools under Directorate of National Education of Ankara and 109 teachers working in Ankara participated in the 2013-2014 academic year. Previously prepared questionnaire was administered to all teachers. The survey consists of two parts: Containing the personal data of the first part, the teachers, there are questions about the demographic structure. In the second part of the questionnaire, likert-type questions are of the substances it is respectively numbered in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Surveys were analyzed by Frequency values, analysis of and t-test. As a result of the study; Smart boards which are the Hardware within the scope of the project were actively used by teachers. From the teachers' opinions, if the lessons have richer visual students take more pleasure from courses and education have been shown to be a more permanent. Because of distributing notices of students' and direct students to extra-curricular activities (games, internet, messaging etc.), tablet computers are not actively used by teachers. Teachers specified that they will actively use the e-contents under Project of FATİH; teachers thought that they should be involved in the preparation of this content. Teachers believe that in recent year's computer courses has lost the importance, including informed and safe use of the internet and computer courses should be placed in the curriculum and this will be useful for Project of FATİH.
