Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the effects of teachers' personality traits on their emotional intelligence levels and decision-making styles. The relational survey model, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The universe of the research consists of teachers working in the province of Kütahya. The sampling in this study is the convenient sampling method, which is among the non-random sampling methods. The main factors in choosing this method are that it requires low cost, the universe is large, and besides these, it provides convenience in application. The research was carried out with 524 teachers working in different branches in schools in Kütahya. Questionnaire method was used to provide the data. In line with the purpose of the research, the data used in the research were provided by using the socio-demographic form, the five-factor personality scale, the emotional intelligence scale and the decision-making styles scale. The prepared survey questions were delivered to those who participated in the research on the internet. The data obtained at the end of the research were analyzed using the SPSS 25 program. The result of the research is that individual characteristics are effective on decision-making style and emotional intelligence.
