Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine teachers' motivation levels and attitudes towards professional cooperation by age, gender, branch, educational status, professional seniority, location, educational institution, satisfaction with the school, satisfaction with the teaching profession and preference for the teaching profession. The research was carried out in the scanning model, which is one of the quantitative research designs. The study group of the research consists of 895 teachers working in the center, districts and villages of Burdur in the 2021-2022 academic year. The data of the research were collected with the "Teacher Motivation Scale", "Attitude Scale Towards Professional Cooperation Among Teachers" and "Personal Information Form". The Cronboach Alpha reliability coefficients of the teacher motivation scale and the attitude scale towards professional cooperation among teachers were calculated as ,89. The data obtained in the research were analyzed with the SPSS program. Percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test were used to analyze the data. In the study, it was concluded that teachers' motivation levels and attitudes towards professional cooperation were high, and there was a positive, moderate, significant relationship between teacher motivation and attitudes towards professional cooperation. Teachers' motivation levels differed significantly according to age, gender, branch, seniority, educational institution, satisfaction with the educational institution, and satisfaction with the teaching profession. It has been determined that there is no significant difference according to the variables of education level, place of employment, reasons for choosing the teaching profession. Teachers' attitudes towards professional cooperation differ significantly according to age, seniority, satisfaction with the school, and satisfaction with the teaching profession. There is no significant difference according to the variables of gender, branch, education level, place of employment, educational institution, and reasons for choosing the teaching profession.
