Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine and evaluate the reasons why teachers working in schools in the provincial center of Artvin province do not join the union. Almost all occupational groups have been helped and their teachers have established some professional associations with their masters. These professional organizations will be engaged in trade union activities and try to respond to the demands of their members with these activities. In this context, the sample of the research was included in the study of 108 non-member teachers who served and did not send primary, secondary and high school in the province of Artvin. Previously, the validity, reliability and questionnaires were used to investigate the reasons for teachers' union membership. This questionnaire is Social Problems, Teachers. It is prepared in three dimensions.According to the results obtained from the research, teachers are not members of union members because of social problems ( = 3,47). According to the changing political power and thought, the opinions of the unions, the number of members and the activities are changing ( = 3,62) "with the institutions with the others ( = 3,62) . At the same time, there was no significant relationship between sociodemographic variables and scale subscales in the study (p = 0.05). The proportion of those who think that unions are a necessary formation and the high level of social problems sub-dimension suggest that unions need to change themselves on a structural and operational basis.
