Examining the relationship between teachers' perceptions of organizational justice, organizational integrity and job satisfaction

Abstract (EN)

This research aims to determine the level of teachers' perceptions of organizational justice, organizational integrity and job satisfaction; to explain the relationships between organizational justice, organizational integrity and job satisfaction perceptions. The research model is the relational scanning. The research sample consists of 1.045 teachers selected by simple random sampling method among 2.298 teachers who have been working in official primary, secondary and high schools which are located in Bolu City Center, for at least one year during the 2017-2018 academic period. As a data collection tool, the personal information form, the organizational justice scale, the organizational integrity scale developed by the researcher and the Minnesota job satisfaction scale were used. It was found that the research data showed an abnormal distribution, and nonparametric tests were used in the analysis of the data. According to the research results, it was determined that teachers' perceptions of organizational justice, organizational integrity and job satisfaction were high. In teachers' perceptions of organizational justice, it was determined that there is a significant difference according to marital status, number of teachers in the school and education level variables, but not according to the variables of gender, age, professional seniority and school seniority. In teachers' perceptions of organizational integrity, it was determined that there is a significant difference according to the variables of the number of teachers in the school and the education level, but not according to the variables of gender, marital status, age, professional seniority and school seniority. In teachers' perceptions of job satisfaction, it was determined that there is a significant difference according to the variables of marital status, age, professional seniority, number of teachers in the school and education level, but not according to the variables of gender and school seniority. High, positive and meaningful relationships were found between organizational justice and organizational integrity, moderate between organizational justice and job satisfaction, and moderate, positive and meaningful relationships between organizational integrity and job satisfaction. It has been concluded that organizational justice and organizational integrity together predict job satisfaction at a low level. To predict job satisfaction, it has been found that organizational justice has a low effect size and organizational integrity has a positive and meaningful contribution with an effect at a very low size.
