Abstract (EN)

In today's education, the use of artificial intelligence technologies is becoming increasingly widespread. In this context, the extent to which teachers adopt generative artificial intelligence applications and how these applications are evaluated in educational environments constitute an important research area. This thesis is designed to understand teachers' acceptance of these new technologies and also to evaluate the effects of these acceptances in educational environments. This study will address teachers' acceptance of generative artificial intelligence applications from a broad perspective. Some of the main elements that stand out within the scope of the subject are as follows: • Artificial intelligence applications in the field of education will focus on the definition of generative applications in particular and examples of use in various fields. How artificial intelligence can be used in areas such as creating teaching materials, student performance evaluation and learning management systems will be examined. • A screening model will be applied to teachers' acceptance of new technologies and the factors that are effective in determining these acceptances. Teachers' Artificial Intelligence Usage Experiences: • The research will examine how often teachers use artificial intelligence applications, their experiences and feedback from these applications. In this context, the data obtained through the generative artificial intelligence acceptance scale applied to teachers will be analyzed. Evaluation and Effects on Educational Environments: • The research will examine the extent to which teachers accept artificial intelligence applications and the effects of this acceptance in educational environments. In particular, the effects on student achievement, student motivation, teaching processes and student-teacher interaction will be evaluated. It will make a significant contribution to understanding educators' acceptance of using generative artificial intelligence applications and evaluating the effects of these acceptances in educational environments. The findings obtained can help teachers, educational policy makers and technology developers integrate artificial intelligence technologies into educational processes more effectively. This thesis aims to contribute to a better understanding of the use of artificial intelligence in education and to making educational systems more efficient.
