Abstract (EN)
This research aims to determine the relationship between the factors affecting lifelong learning and their attitudes towards distance education, gender, age, professional seniority and daily internet use of teachers working in educational institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Bursa province center Osmangazi, Nilüfer and Yıldırım districts in the 2020-2021 academic year It was carried out to determine whether there is a difference in terms of variables. The "Factors Affecting Teachers' Lifelong Learning Scale" was used to determine teachers' perceptions of the factors affecting their lifelong learning, and the "Attitude Scale Towards Distance Education" was used to determine their attitudes towards distance education. According to the findings obtained as a result of the analyzes, it was seen that teachers' perceptions of the factors affecting their lifelong learning created significant differences in all variables. It is seen that there is a significant relationship in favor of female teachers with the perception of the factors affecting the lifelong learning of the teachers. Although there is a significant difference according to the age variable, it is seen that teachers' perceptions of the factors affecting their lifelong learning decrease in advancing ages. On the other hand, it was observed that their perceptions of the factors affecting their learning were high. As a result of another analysis, it was determined that teachers' attitudes towards distance education were significant only in the variable of professional seniority. In general, it was concluded that teachers' attitudes towards distance education were negative. As a result of the research, no relationship was found between teachers' perceptions of the factors affecting their lifelong learning and their attitudes towards distance education.
