School principals efficency and school enivornment (Sample of İstanbul Eminönü and Fatih district )

This study, which examines the grade of school managers? efficacy on the scope of general abilities who work in secondary education institutions in Fatih and Eminönü towns, in European side of Istanbul city, consists of five parts. The first part of the research consists of problem, aim, the importance of the study, limits and definitions; the second part consists of the theoretical bases of management?s forms; the third part consists of the method of the research; the fourth part consists of findings and comments of the research and the last part consists of results and recommendations.The universe of the study is composed of 201 teachers who work in formal secondary education institutions in Fatih and Eminönü towns, in Istanbul city. Scanning modal was used in the study.Teachers? and managers? efficacy who work in secondary education institutions and level of comprehending schools? climate were examined. On this frame, especially teachers? demographic qualities with the points of administrative effectiveness and organizational climate were summarized by the help of defining statistics. Then the differentiation state of teachers? administrative effectiveness and comprehending of climate was examined on the scope of demographic qualities. Finally the effects of administrative effectiveness on organizational climate were tried to determine. In this study t-test, analysis-of-variance, multi-regression-analysis were used. Results were interpreted statistically by giving values to environment which belongs to connections that had been determined as meaningful according to the statistics.There is a linear and positive relationship between school managers? points on general, cognitive, human-relationship, technical talents and school-climate?s dimensions on morale, truthfulness, close-control, turning towards to work, toleration.
