Özet (EN)

In order to keep the organization alive according to the goals, managers with leadership qualities who use human and material resources in the most efficient way are needed. It is the synergetic climate in the organization that ensures the continuity of the organization and its strong ties. One of the important organizational factors affecting the performance of individuals in their jobs is organizational attractiveness. In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationship between the leadership styles of principals (transformational leadership, autocratic leadership, visionary leadership, supportive leadership) and the synergistic climates and organizational attractiveness of schools. The sample of the study consists of kindergarten, primary, secondary and high school teachers working in the schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the central districts of Battalgazi and Yeşilyurt in the province of Malatya. As the data collection tools of the research; Leadership Styles Scale, Synergetic Climate Scale and Organizational Attractiveness Scale were used. Of the four leadership styles selected, transformational leadership and visionary leadership were developed by Akçakoca and Bilgin (2016) and consist of 10 items. For the Autocratic Leadership Style sub-dimension, the School Administrators' Leadership Style Scale consisting of 3 dimensions and 16 items developed by Kılıç and Yılmaz (2018) was used. For the Supportive Leadership style, the study "The Effect of Leadership Behaviors of Managers in Educational Institutions on Organizational Climate and Performance of Trainers" by Küçük (2008) was used. The Synergetic Climate Scale was developed by Kaya (2014) and the scale was adapted to school organizations by Çağırman and Atik (2021). The scale is one-dimensional and consists of 11 items. The Organizational Attractiveness Scale was developed by Akman and Özdemir (2018) and consists of 11 items. With the analysis of the model created within the scope of this research using the structural equation model, four of the nine hypotheses submitted for the research were rejected and five hypotheses were accepted. It has been found that transformational leadership, autocratic leadership, supportive leadership and synergistic climate variables directly or indirectly affect organizational attractiveness. However, the internal variables of transformational leadership and synergetic climate together explain approximately 57% of the variance in the external variable of organizational attractiveness. We can express this result as an important result when we evaluate it from the point of view of a concept influenced by many variables such as organizational attractiveness. Key Words: Leadership styles, school principal, synergetic climate, organizational attractiveness, teacher.
