Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is the study of the relationship between temperament characteristics and social skills of preschool children. The research sample in Düzce province in the academic year 2022-2023 pre-school education consisted of 132 children Girl continuing 246 114 male. The data are obtained through data about teachers and children, pre-school education from teachers who work in institutions were collected. For the purpose of data collection forms were prepared and applied in the research. The data were collected by face-to-face meeting with the teachers. Yellow as data collection tools in research(2009) performs the Turkish version of "list of the Child Behavior Scale" and Ömeroğlu, et al.(2014)s developed by "social skills rating scale" was used. Social skills of the children by gender sub-dimensions in the properties of temperament diligent in control, negative emotions, and extraversion in the lower dimensions, it is seen that there are significant differences. According to the age of the child, negative emotions, and extraversion dimensions of temperament significant differences were observed. Cchildren's social skills by age scores were examined, significant differences were found. Temperament characteristics were examined according to the type of institution, diligent, while significant differences are found in the lower dimensions extroversion scores between control and social skills, according to the type of Institution a significant difference was not detected. According to Mother education level indicated significant differences between temperament characteristics. Diligent examined the relationship between temperament characteristics of children with poor social skills social skills and temperament to control the size of the sub in the negative direction at the low level there was a significant relationship between negative affective temperament is concluded that in the absence of a significant relationship between the lower size. A child with social skills between extroversion dimension in the positive direction it has been found that there is a significant relationship at the low level. A significant correlation was found between social skills with some temperament characteristics, while some temperament characteristics in positive and negative direction of the relationship it has been found that at a low level.
