Abstract (EN)

This research is prepared to research the efficiency of this programme by applying the Hygiene Habits Acquisition Education Programme with 13 week and to determine the hygiene habits of children at pre-school period.The sampling of research is consisted of totally 44 children and their family who are randomly selected like experimental group of 21 children and control group of 23 children, are 60 - 72 month group that continue like full-day at Governor Mehmet Ali Türker pre-school that is affiliated to Directorate of National Education of Bolu.The data collection was carried out like two parts at this research. At first part, ?Children and for Their Family Introductory Characteristics Form? developed by Soydaş, was applied to families. At second part, ?Hygiene Behaviors School Observation Form? developed by Soydaş, was applied to children like pre-test and post test. The significance level of 0.05 was based on interpretation of research findings. Analyses were done by using SPSS 11.5 programme.The unrelated t-test was used to compare the pre-test and post test hygiene points of children in these groups before and after the application of this program and to compare in terms of demographic characteristics of hygiene points of all children in the experimental and control groups before application of Hygiene Habits Acquisition Education Programme, the related test was used to compare the pre-test and post test hygiene points of children in the experimental group.Key Words: Hygiene Habits, Hygiene Behaviours, Hygiene Education, Hygiene and Health, Hygiene Education for Preschool.
